In the past few years, Open_Music has increasingly embraced the use of electronic media to augment its traditional Instrumentarium and initiated more projects in which guest musicians (some of whom have been associated with Open_Music projects in the past) are invited to work several days with members of the ensemble. Three such projects from 2021-2022 are presented here in a new Bandcamp series called ELEKTROAKUSTIKA.

In May 2022, the cellist Céline Papion was invited for several days of electroacoustic improvisations with Michael Kiedaisch, Roderik Vanderstraeten and Scott Roller from Open_Music in Tango Ocho (Wagenhallen Stuttgart). This album is a selection from that material.
